Bishop H.B. and Lady Latasha Turnley
Bishop H.B. Turnley started the Church of JESUS (Georgia) in May of 1984, after Bishop M.A. Hunt, his predecessor and uncle, founded the Church of JESUS (Indiana) in May of 1974. Bishop Turnley was initially from Indianapolis, IN. He joined the United States Navy after high school and retired after 27 years. In between this time, he and his family then migrated to Wrightsville, GA, to start the Church of JESUS (Georgia). He worked with the Department of Transportation, where he retired after 33 years, 24 years of which he was in management.
On the other hand, Lady Latasha is from Wrightsville, GA. She left to attend Albany State University after high school and obtained a bachelor’s degree in marketing. After graduating from college in 2002, she moved to Atlanta, GA, where she began her career at DeVry University in higher education for 15 years but found a different path to pursue in senior living as a Director of Sales and Marketing where she currently is today. In 2015, Latasha completed her graduate studies for grant writing at the University of Georgia.
Bishop Turnley and Lady Latasha were married in 2023. They both come from large families who love and serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Together, they continue to serve our community, teach the gospel of Jesus, and put Jesus first.
JESUS said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
Evangelist Evelyn G. Snell
Born September 21, 1962, in East Dublin, GA, Evangelist Evelyn has been attending the Church of JESUS since 1987. She has been a devoted Saint the entire time. She started out serving as an usher and has been a growing evangelist for more than 20 years. Her family is also devout members of the church as well. You may recognize Evangelist Evelyn as one of the leaders of our community outreach.

My name is Eric Snell. I was born in 1989 to Lambert and Evelyn Snell. I am next to the youngest of 5 siblings. I have been attending Church Of JESUS for 20+ years. I was raised in Church Of JESUS and grown from a Jr Deacon to a leadership role. I went off for the Army in 2009 and I was medically retired in 2016. I returned home for a year and left to California and Las Vegas. I spent 5 years away from home before returning back to Georgia in 2023. Before returning home from Las Vegas I graduated DeVry University in 2022. I pray that Church Of JESUS but most importantly the word of GOD continues to bless and mold us all. My name is Dominique Snell. I was born in 1990 to Roger and Stacey Kinsey. I am the middle child of multiple siblings. I graduated from East Laurens High School in 2009. I graduated from Medical College in 2022. I have been attending Church Of JESUS for 3 years. I was raised in the church named William Chapel from childhood to my adult years. I transitioned to church of JESUS when I met my current husband and long tenured member Eric Snell. I married my husband Eric Snell in 2022 in Las Vegas, NV.
